Maxillofacial Concierge Services (MCS) is a one on one, time based, focused and
comprehensive tutoring session for common topics in oral and maxillofacial surgery. MCS
offers a unique opportunity for oral and maxillofacial surgeons preparing for various board
certifying examinations by allowing one on one training sessions with nationally and
internationally recognized experts in the field. MCS faculty will work with individual surgeons
in order to recognize, correct and improve skills needed for successful completion of certifying
assessment opportunities.
Membership Benefits
MCS membership offers the following:
- Six total hours of one-on-one tutoring (live or virtual) with simulated examination session and immediate feedback from faculty
- Personal assessment of member’s needs and learning requirements
- Review of examination contents as well as preparation strategies
- Virtual creation of a mock board examination and sections
- Assessment of member’s presentation and verbal skills
- Recognition of common pitfalls during oral presentation
- Improvement of communication skills
- Three initial 90-minute live and/or virtual training sessions covering following topics:
- Head & neck infections
- Orthognathic surgery
- Maxillofacial trauma
- Head & neck pathology
- Maxillofacial reconstruction
- Facial cosmetic surgery
- Cleft surgery
- Sleep apnea surgery
- Dento-alveolar surgery
- One follow-up 90 minute training session to review previously discussed topics and reinforce areas of weakness
