Small-group discussions is a refresher course open to all oral and maxillofacial surgeons, especially those in the process of completing the board-certification process.
This course is designed to enhance the audience’s knowledge and experience by participating in clinically relevant case presentations. Unlike many other types of refresher courses where lectures are presented by speakers over an extended period of time, small group discussions offer topics covering all contemporary aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery which are then discussed in both small groups and individual participation formats.
Audience performance is gauged by faculty and evaluations are offered. The course covers a large volume of information but in a concise manner, and over a short period of time.
